A classic trick-taking card game where spades are always trump. You bid how many tricks you expect to win and then play to meet that number, so the accuracy of your bid matters as much as the strength of your cards. It is a game of careful counting and smart card play, played here against skilled opponents.
Look at your hand and bid how many tricks you think you can win. Play one card per turn, following the suit that was led if you can. Spades beat every other suit. Try to win at least the tricks you bid, without taking too many extra.
